Service Coordinator – Cargo Care Solutions

On behalf of Cargo Care Solutions, MARPRO Group is looking for a(n) Service Coordinator for the office in Barendrecht. You will report to the Division Director of the Cargo Pumping Division.

The job

In your role as Service Coordinator you are responsible for the planning and coordination of all service activities in an effective and (cost) efficient way to ensure that all internal and external stakeholders are satisfied and feel relieved of planning and organization work as much as possible. You ensure that a job is prepared, executed and administrated as per the standards of Cargo Care Solutions.

Other activities

• Ensure a proper handling of PO’s by client, managing and documenting the internal and external flow of information.
• Receive and process Handover from Sales Department
• Provide Handovers to Technical Support Team and if required, back to Sales Department
• Ensure the client receives all required information, materials and documents
• Checking with the vessel agent daily before the scheduled attendance date.
  Then handing the planning over attending engineer and the appropriate departments
• Sourcing relevant flights and arrange subject Visa for engineers to attend jobs
• Checking and confirming that an engineer is available for the scheduled service
• Ensuring parts will be available/arrive prior to attendance
• Keeping customer informed of status update prior to boarding
• Ensuring the service report is sent to the customer within 24 hours of receipt, together with a summary, if needed, of next steps
• Register relevant external customer feedback
• Prepare pre-calculations for Sales and Finance departments
• Receive and document returned goods together with appropriate departments

Personal characteristics

• You have relevant working experience in similar job in customer services environment (24/7 environment)
• MBO or HBO diploma
• You have affinity with (maritime) technology
• You have a structured way of thinking and working
• You are able to communicate clearly and fluently in both English and Dutch
• Any additional language skills are considered beneficial
• Strong customer focus and service minded mentality
• You are result oriented and a team player
• You are reliable and responsible
