As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within your region.

On behalf of CTI GL MARPRO is looking for a Business Development Manager for their office in Hoofddorp.
As a Business Development Manager – you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within your region. This role requires a proven track record in selling time-critical freight services, exceptional sales skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics needs in the maritime industry.
CTI Global Logistics is an international logistics company that is a big player in the field of aviation and have offered tailored solutions to large airlines worldwide with tremendous success.
To develop the maritime branch CTI GL is now looking to hire a business development manager with the right network, the right attitude and the right spirit to be responsible for the role out of this new success story.
Professional Competencies
- Technical and commercial background.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the shipping industry. (Min. +3 years’ experience).
- Experienced in selling to shipowners, suppliers, builders, charterers, brokers.
- Experience with direct sales.
- Experience with logistics.
- Network in the shipping industry.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the specific region are a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hunter type with ability to close orders.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire potential new business to expand customer portfolio.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
- Arrange and conduct customer visits as required and follow up on network and sales leads
- Maintain strong relationships within the international network.
- Contribute actively to year-on-year gross revenue increase through new business.
- Follow up on freight quotes with customers and participate in tender preparations and submissions.
- Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Use CRM tools to manage client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management.
