On behalf of Cargo Care Solutions, MARPRO is currently seeking an Sales Manager to join their Cargo Access Division, where you will take care of spare part sales to clients all over the world.

The job

Cargo Care Solutions is a fast growing platform for all requirements in the field of cargo related ship’s equipment. The company is setup in different divisions, each having its own focus. All divisions provide spare parts, services and engineering related to cargo in the maritime industry.

The Cargo Access Division’s main focus lies on servicing cargo access equipment on sea-going vessels such as hatch covers, RoRo-equipment, watertight doors, etc. Cargo Care Solutions has an extensive background in the field of cargo access equipment as the company has been created out of the former service networks of MACOR Neptun and SEOHAE Marine System, well known players on the newbuilding market.

In 2010 Cargo Care Solutions have recognized the market need for an independent, global and all-round supplier of parts and services for the many different brands of cargo access equipment. Therefore Cargo Care Solutions works with the key players in the maritime industry.

At SMM 2024, Cargo Care Solutions presented its next big development: the lashing division. This is a very promising field and you will have freedom to cross-sell and actively develop this exciting market.

In a challenging and constantly changing maritime industry, you will ensure that our customers can continue to use their equipment safely and without problems. You will carry out on-board inspections to analyze and check the equipment so that we can feed back the recommendations to the customer. We work globally.

In addition to the inspections, you will also provide support to the customer during the dry dock of the ships in the field of maintenance and repairs.

We offer a proactive and intensive induction process and after this process, you and your colleagues from the service department are responsible for pursuing our high standards and supporting us in the further development of our company.

Additional responsibility

• You work in a team, with close support from our Inside Sales Engineers and the Service Department

• You make sure that our clients receive quick replies to any client inquiries for cargo access spares.

• You report directly to the CEO of Cargo Care Solutions

• You are well aware of market developments and you are able to develop and implement strategic plans to drive Cargo Care Solutions’ sales.

• You follow up on any promising inquiries to offer the most suitable quotation to the client.

• You are the driving force in developing Cargo Care Solutions’ business.

Your qualifications

• You have relevant working experience

• You have a MBO or HBO diploma

• You have affinity with technology, in particular hydraulics

• You are able to communicate clearly and fluently in both English and Dutch

• Any additional language skills are considered beneficial

• Strong customer focus and service minded mentality

• You are reliable and responsible

• You are level-headed and have a stable personality
