On behalf of Cargo Care Solutions, MARPRO is seeking a Sales Manager to join their newly established Lashing Division. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our global clientele in this promising market.

Cargo Care Solutions is a fast-growing platform for all requirements in the field of cargo-related ship’s equipment. The company is set up in different divisions, each having its own focus. All divisions provide spare parts, services and engineering related to cargo in the maritime industry.

The job

In 2024, Cargo Care Solutions presented its next big development: the lashing division. This is a very promising field and you will have freedom to cross-sell and actively develop this exciting market.

Cargo Care Solutions ensures safe and efficient cargo handling with a comprehensive range of lashing services. They design, deliver, and install lashing systems, perform inspections and maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

As Sales Manager Lashing Division, you will play a crucial role in securing the efficient and safe operation of our clients' cargo handling systems worldwide. You report to the CEO of the company.

The main task of the Sales Manager Lashing Division is to establish and develop the Cargo Care Solutions brand in the newbuilding and after sales market. You hunt for new business opportunities in the ship newbuilding market and you maximize opportunities in the after sales market. You have a strong relevant network and you like to take the lead in building the business, which has the potential to become a large business unit within Cargo Care Solutions.

Additional responsibility

• Respond quickly to customer inquiries for lashing systems
• Staying abreast of market developments and contributing to the development and implementation of strategic sales plans for the Lashing Division
• Following up on promising leads and presenting tailored quotations to potential clients
• Taking the lead in expanding Cargo Care Solutions' activities within the lashing sector
• Provide support to customers during dry dock periods, particularly in the maintenance and repair of lashing systems

Your qualifications

• You are a strong salesperson with experience in direct sales in the ship newbuilding market

• You have a HBO diploma

• You have affinity with technology

• You are able to communicate clearly and fluently in both English and Dutch

• Any additional language skills are considered beneficial

• You are able to travel

• Strong customer focus and service minded mentality

• You are reliable and responsible

• You are level-headed and have a stable personality

• You have the ambition to become a subject matter expert on cargo lashing
