On behalf of Dräger, MARPRO is recruiting for this position: Service Engineer, Fire Fighting & Life Saving Appliances Maritime, Dräger Marine and Offshore

To expand their team, the Dräger Marine & Offshore business unit are looking to hire Service Technicians. In this role you will go on board and carry out the necessary service, repairs and replacements.

Responsibilities

Is authorized to

• certify fire extinguishing materials in accordance with current NEN-EN standards
• issue inspection certificates relating to fire-fighting equipment and installations
• drawing up work orders

Is responsible for

• maintaining and repairing the equipment professionally and efficiently
• leaving behind properly functioning resources and systems
• fully carrying out the necessary administrative actions
• correctly resolving customer problems
• being alert to preventive maintenance
• taking into account the general and additional safety requirements on location
• complying with regulations regarding the installation/equipment
• the nominal condition of the installation/equipment
• complete and accurate documentation

Professional Competencies

• Do you have a VMBO technical direction diploma (level 3 or 4) and demonstrable experience in technology?
• You are flexible, you have no problems with traveling and being away from home for periods, due to offshore services.
• Do you dare to work at heights and are you willing to work in consignment services?
• You have a good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written. Speaking German is an advantage.
• Are you in possession of a VCA and the professional diploma for Maintenance Technician Small Fire Extinguishing Equipment or are you willing to obtain these?
• Do you have a valid Driver’s license

Dräger offers an attractive compensation package matching your skills and experience in an informal working atmosphere.

Dräger applies a signing bonus of €2.000 gross to the employee to be hired. Half of the bonus is paid out if you have been employed for one year. If you are still employed after two years, you will also receive the other half;

Dräger is covered by the CAO Metalektro with as many as 27 vacation days and 13 free roster days. There is a new collective bargaining agreement. The new CAO will take effect on June 1, 2024. There will be 3 structural CAO increases:

- 2.75% as of June 1, 2024;

- 3.25% as of January 1, 2025;

- 3% as of June 1, 2025.
