On behalf of Corrocoat, MARPRO is currently seeking a Sales Director to lead their Sales Department to promote and sell Corrocoat’s services and high end coatings.

The job
As a Sales Director you will take a seat in the Management Team, where you will be co-responsible for determining the short and long-term strategic plans of Corrocoat Benelux, as well as monitoring and safeguarding them. You will supervise the activities and performance of the sales team and report these in the MT. The Sales Director analyses market opportunities, sales statistics and results. Makes sales forecasts and determines the profitability of products and services. And he or she adjusts the set course should results require it.
You will have a strong focus on finding new customers & markets, expand relationships with current customers and have an excellent understanding of their specific needs. You will develop and support a good functioning sales team and will be co-responsible for the search and selection of employees.
Further Responsibilities
- Write and execute an annual sales plan and set individual sales targets with the sales team. Develop and implement sales initiatives, strategies and projects.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Maintain constructive relationships with (international) Corrocoat departments.
- Comply with procedures regarding quotation/order/complaint handling
- Participate in promotional activities (e.g. trade fairs, networking events, seminars)
- Champion a positive (sales) team spirit
Your qualifications
- Commercial and/or marketing education, mechanical engineering (or similar) or relevant work experience. HBO work and thinking level
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales management position
- Able to delegate and hand off ownership
- Experience in the coating industry is a plus
- Strongly developed commercial insight
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Result-oriented and persistent
- Creative, and autonomous
- Strong business development qualities
- Good computer knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, CRM)
- Analytically strong & result-oriented
- Fluent in Dutch an English. German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel in the Benelux and UK
