On behalf of Cargo Care Solutions, MARPRO Group is looking for a Sales Manager Pump Division for the office in Barendrecht. You will report to the Director of the division.
The job
Cargo Care Solutions is a fast-growing platform for all requirements in the field of cargo-related ship's equipment. The company is set up in different divisions, each with its own focus. All divisions provide spare parts, services and engineering related to cargo in the maritime industry.
Their Pump Division focuses on providing comprehensive solutions for deepwell pumps used on various types of vessels, including chemical, gas and product carriers. As the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding their market presence and achieving ambitious sales targets.
This role involves frequent travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-site inspections. You will work closely with their internal teams, including Inside Sales Engineers and the Service Department, to ensure seamless customer service and project execution.
Additional Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities, targeting ship owners and ship managers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing expert advice on their pump products and services.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, effectively communicating the value proposition of their solutions.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and maximizing profitability.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements in the pump industry.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Represent Cargo Care Solutions at industry exhibitions and events, showcasing their expertise and generating leads.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking progress against targets.
Professional qualifications
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the maritime industry, with a focus on pumps or related equipment
- Strong technical understanding of deepwell pumps and their applications is an advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in other languages, particularly Dutch, is highly desirable
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Ability to travel internationally frequently.
