On behalf of G&O Maritime Group - HJ Lubricators– we are looking for an Area Sales Manager.
HJ Lubricators (a part of G&O Maritime Group) is a technology and manufacturing company, globally recognized as a leading supplier of cylinder lubrication systems for two-stroke marine engines used on the largest merchant vessels. HJ Lubricators controls its own manufacturing of lubricators, valves, controls and related equipment. The solutions reduce cylinder oil consumption, increase engine optimisation and contributes to reduced CO2 and particle emissions. Today the company's primary customers are ship owners and engine manufacturers.
The primary focus is to sell complete lubrication systems for retrofit basis. To succeed you will have to manage a wide range of stakeholders in sales projects primarily being Fleet Managers and Technical Managers in Ship Management companies as well as Ship Owners.
The position refers to the Head of Sales. You will have strong support from technical support, R&D and after-sales team as well as colleagues in the G&O Maritime Group.
Work location can be either the Group Head Quarters in Lyngby or our site in Hadsund.
Main Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities
- Take full responsibility for sales targets and growth within your area
- Understand client pain points and communicate our value propositions
- Assure customer retention
- Collaborate cross-functionally within G&O Group
- Monitor and manage sales pipeline
- Participate in industry events and networking activities
Professional and personal competencies required for this role:
- Experience in international sales and nature talent to build and maintain relationships
- A sales-driven mindset with a passion for prospecting, cold calling, and pipeline building
- A self-starter working independent, highly motivated, and thrives in a target-driven environment
- Maintain detailed records of activities and leads in CRM
- At least 3 years of working experience and proven track record within technical sales
- Motivated to meet and exceed KPIs, revenue goals, and activity metrics
- An explorer to travel internationally 50-60 days/year
