On behalf of NSB Group, MARPRO is looking for a Sales Representative for NSB Products primarily including Commercial & Technical Ship Management, New Build Supervision, and Crew Management Training. You will join the team of some 150 colleagues across the globe. The company is headquartered in Buxtehude, Germany (near Hamburg). You will report to the Vice President Sales.
Main Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with prospective clients, conduct site visits, and spearhead marketing initiatives (trade fairs, conferences, advertisements) to identify market opportunities
- Build and grow relationships with customers and key stakeholders throughout Benelux, the UK, and other west-European countries
- Gather inquiries, support in preparing the quotations with the appointed team, and manage the entire follow-up process
- Finalize sales agreements through negotiations on pricing, product specifications, and delivery
- Oversee the execution of customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient progress incl. timely updates to the customer
- Organize and structure work/action schedules, contract specifications, and collaborate with project managers to review and refine these documents
- Address customer issues and claims, ensuring prompt and effective resolution
- Report on market developments in the assigned territory to the VP Global Sales
Professional Competencies
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a commercial technical role
- Experience within the spare parts industry might be a plus
- Commitment to spending significant time in relevant regions (approximately 125 days per year)
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
