On behalf of BAWAT, MARPRO Group is looking for a Technical Service Operator for the office in Hørsholm. You will report to the CTO of the company.

Bawat A/S is a Danish-owned company that offers a unique green solution for treating ballast water. This green technology uses neither chemicals nor additional energy, which makes it unique among the market’s competing solutions. It is IMO and USCG approved and patented. Moreover, a unique feature of the technology is that it can be used to great advantage in both ports and shipyards. Bawat delivers BWMS to both the retrofit- and newbuilding market and has a unique market position for the shore-based container unit systems.

The job

You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Bawat Units, ensuring their safe, reliable and efficient performance across diverse and challenging conditions. The role requires flexibility to travel at short notice for installations, commissioning and service activities, while maintaining close collaboration with colleagues, customers and partners both on-site and in the office. You will manage the full spectrum of operational documentation, reporting and follow-up, contributing to the coordination and communication within multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you will support procurement processes by obtaining quotes, placing orders and ensuring timely delivery of necessary resources. The position involves regular interaction with various stakeholders and reports directly to the CTO, offering the opportunity to have a tangible impact on operational excellence and strategic projects.

Professional qualifications

• Marine Engineer with a technical or hands-on background, 3^rd or 2^nd Engineers are also welcome to apply.
• Flexible and willing to travel at short notice to operate Bawat Units. Expected travel days max. 30-40 days a year.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with collaborating in both office and field environments.
• Proactive in maintenance and operations, with proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be an EU citizen with valid work permit in Denmark
