On behalf of Wencon, MARPRO Group is seeking a Area Sales Manager to drive growth in Wencon’s international markets within the maritime sector.
The job
In this role, you will work closely with distributors and agents to build strong customer relationships and expand Wencon’s global presence. Your main responsibility is to deliver solid sales results while driving market development. This includes strengthening partnerships with existing distributors, identifying new potential partners, and actively pursuing new strategic customer relationships - both through distributors and directly.
You will develop and implement sales strategies for your assigned markets, prospect and secure new customers and partners, and support distributors with training and marketing activities, both onsite and online. Additionally, you will lead technical sales efforts through customer visits, monitor market trends and competitors, report on pipeline and market development, and represent Wencon at trade shows and industry events.
Professional competencies required for this role
• International B2B sales experience
• Experience in the maritime industry
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to work across borders
• Fluent in Danish and English
• Willingness to travel internationally - up to 40 days per year
• Confident user of CRM/ERP systems and general IT tools
• Permission to work in Denmark
