On behalf of Corrocoat Benelux BV, MARPRO Group is looking for a Sales Engineer for their office in the Rotterdam area. You will report to the Sales Manager of the company.

The Job

As Sales Engineer at Corrocoat, you do not just sell ' a coating'; you provide sustainable total anti-corrosion solutions. You are the driving force behind the growth of the Benelux branch, acting as a technical consultant for clients in sectors such as maritime, petrochemical, oil & gas, power generation and food

Your value lies in providing reliable advice on both high-end coating systems and the full application service. You understand that customers are not just looking for a product, but for protection of their capital assets. You focus on finding new markets and expanding current relationships by translating specific needs into tailor-made quotes and service solutions. Most of your time is spent traveling within the Benelux to visit clients.

Professional qualifications

• Technical background, MBO/HBO education in a technical or commercial field

• At least 3-5 years of relevant sales experience in a technical or maritime environment

• Proven experience in selling industrial services and/or coatings is highly advantageous

• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of German is considered a plus

• Proficiency in modern CRM systems and MS Office

• A strong commercial mindset combined with technical depth

• Possess humor, a positive mindset, and a proactive 'can-do' attitude

• Result-oriented, persistent, and capable of independently developing a region

• Excellent communication skills and high integrity

• Hunter skills are required. You love cold canvassing and getting new business
