On behalf of our client, MARPRO Group is looking for an experienced Head of Operations for an organisation based in Copenhagen.

The job
As Head of Operations, you will hold overall responsibility for planning, coordinating and executing operational activities across the organisation. You will lead and develop multidisciplinary teams while ensuring operational readiness, resource optimisation and the successful delivery of missions and projects.
You will serve as a key link between management, customers and operational personnel, balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day execution. The position requires a strong commercial understanding as well as the ability to make sound decisions under pressure in rapidly evolving situations.
You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing effective processes and ensuring that people, assets and capabilities are aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
The role requires a genuine 24/7 operational mindset and a willingness to take ownership whenever critical situations arise. You will be expected to lead from the front, inspire confidence and maintain focus on mission success while fostering a positive and professional working culture.

Professional qualifications
Proven leadership experience within military, maritime, defence, security or other operationally demanding environments
Background as a Tactical Naval Officer or similar operational leadership role is highly preferred
Experience leading teams, operations, projects or mission-critical activities
Strong strategic and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Sound business acumen and commercial understanding
Experience working with operational planning, resource management and process optimisation
Security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Professional fluency in both Danish and English, written and spoken
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
