I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend over 40 years of my career in the dynamic, ever-changing, and diverse Danish shipping industry. I have been educated and employed by companies such as J. Lauritzen, Armada, Maersk Bulk/Tankers, Norden, MUR, Clipper, and Centurion Bulk, mostly on the commercial side. 

Throughout my journey, I have fulfilled personal goals and dreams in managerial roles, including team responsibilities, travel opportunities, and living abroad. Recently, I decided to embark on a new adventure - recruiting shore-based personnel for the maritime industry, with a special focus on chartering, operations, post-fixture, finance, surveyors, and other specialist roles.

My ambition moving forward is to remain attuned to any developments and trends affecting the maritime industry, particularly in supporting organizational growth while also nurturing individual careers. How do I plan to pursue that? When entrusted by companies with the task of finding a new employee, I aim to dedicate time to understanding the unique culture and values of the organization in need of a new team member - preferably through a visit to their premises or thorough online communication.Together with a perceptive approach to identifying:

• The manager who is ready to embrace the next challenge
• The employee who is prepared to take on greater responsibilities and advance their career
• The employee who requires more flexibility in their role for various reasons
