On behalf of Oresund DryDocks, MARPRO Group is looking for a Chief commercial officer (CCO) for the shipyard in Landskrona.
The job
As CCO, you will lead and develop the Marketing, Sales & Estimation department, focusing on securing new orders and nurturing customer relationships. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee a team of a Marketing Manager and four Estimators.
You will be responsible for driving sales and business development, crafting strategies to ensure profitability and market growth. This includes analysing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
This is a key leadership role where you will manage and inspire your team to achieve ambitious goals. You will coach your employees to reach their full potential, foster a high-performance culture, and champion cross-departmental collaboration.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy
- Lead and mentor the Marketing, Sales & Estimation team
- Secure new business by identifying opportunities and closing agreements with key customers
- Analyse market trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Manage budgets and ensure the profitability of all quotations
- Optimize processes and collaborate with other departments to create synergy
- Oversee project planning and manage sales targets
This is a hands-on role where you are expected to participate directly in estimation work.
We believe you have at least 5 years of commercial leadership experience in sales, estimation, and business development, preferably from the shipyard industry with a focus on overhaul, repair, conversion, and life extension.
Professional qualifications
Have a relevant maritime university education and/or education in finance/marketing
Have solid knowledge and understanding of technical, financial, and operational issues at a shipyard
Be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Hold a valid driver’s license (B)
Be comfortable with IT and proficient in MS Office
Strive working in an international environment
Experience with public procurement and work with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 is an advantage
