On behalf of ASM Maritime, MARPRO Group is looking for a Marine Superintendent for the office in Amsterdam. You will report to the Marine Director of the company.

The job

As a Marine Superintendent at ASM Maritime, you will be responsible to ensure the vessel is at all times ready to perform in accordance with pool and/or TC terms and conditions and is kept to the highest company and industry standards. You support the Marine Director in overall business procedures, customers, and internal/external assurance. You ensure all procedures are done according to our company's safety procedures and you maintain the safety system and ensures this is in line with the national and international regulations and the oil major vetting requirements

Professional qualifications

• Minimum Chief Mate STCW Reg. ii/2 Unlimited

• Minimum 2 years' experience as Captain or Chief Officer on chemical tankers

• At least 1 year of experience working ashore as marine/vetting superintendent

• Must have a high level of commitment in order to meet the demanding workload and long work hours

• Ability to work under pressure and 24/7 availability

• Good general IT knowledge

• Possession of a category B driving license

• Willingness to travel on short notice

• Ability to work from the office in Amsterdam

• Fluent in English
