On behalf of Maersk Tankers, MARPRO Group is looking for a People Partner for their office in Singapore. You will report to the Chief People Officer of the company.

The job

As People Partner you will play a key role in supporting Maersk Tankers' people agenda in Singapore. Acting as the primary local point of contact for managers and employees, you will provide expert guidance on HR policies and practices, employee relations, people processes, local employment legislation and common practice regarding benefits (e.g. health insurance). You will ensure efficient and compliant HR operations, oversee payroll processes and lead and manage employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, onboarding, mobility and offboarding.

In close collaboration with the global People team and leaders, you will drive the annual people cycle locally, including salary and bonus reviews and employee engagement initiatives. You will also monitor developments in local labour legislation, manage immigration and statutory reporting requirements and help bring the company's values, cultural aspirations and leadership expectations to life through your daily interactions and support of leaders across the organisation.

Professional qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of HR generalist, HR business partner or people partner experience

• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices

• Experience managing payroll processes and HR administration

• Proven experience handling employee relations matters and providing advice to managers

• Experience supporting recruitment processes and talent acquisition activities

• Strong understanding of HR systems, people data management, and reporting

• Experience working in an international environment

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
